Take the A 20 motorway towards Rostock and continue to the Stralsund exit. Follow the B 96 towards Stralsund and the signs to the island of Rügen.
Recommended route Stralsund – Ostseebad Binz:
In Stralsund, the B 96 crosses the new Rügen bridge onto the island. Follow the B 96 towards Bergen and after approx. 20 km take the B 196 (on the right before Bergen) towards Sellin/Göhren. After passing the town of Bergen, you will reach the Karow junction after 5 km. Follow the road to Prora and turn right towards Binz at the final crossroads. Follow the road until you turn left onto Prorae Allee. At the end of the road, turn right onto Dollahner Straße. Follow this road until you turn left onto Dünenstraße. After 400 m, turn left into Proraer Straße and follow it until you reach the Rugard Thermal Strandhotel on your left.

Travel with Deutsche Bahn long-distance trains directly to Binz without changing, from Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Frankfurt (Main) and Munich.
There are good ICE and Intercity connections to Binz from all over Germany, often without changing trains.
